“Professionally produced to a very high standard with appropriately designed cover art, there is much to enjoy about the story. The historical element sits comfortably alongside the modern-day setting and there is enough action to keep interest alive until the end.” – Historical Novel Society
“This story is amazing. It is as realistic as it is not! It has magic and it has drama and at the same time, it has funny moments, and talking cats and dogs. It is funny and entertaining and it is serious and complex.” – Marina Boteva
