If You Publish a Book And No One Reads It – Is It Still a Novel?

Book marketing is the most important part of launching your book. Without reviews, interviews, features and coverage your book is going to sit on the shelf.

After working hard on your book, late nights, weekends and early mornings you would like people to read and enjoy the book. This only happens by slogging away and approaching hundreds or sometimes thousands of reviewers, bloggers and journalists.

Here are two authors we are currently working with that are taking their book marketing efforts seriously.

Chris Bridge

Chris is an exceptional author and we are thrilled to have the pleasure of working with him again. We helped him gain reviews, interviews and features for his first book Back Behind Enemy Lines.

Chris released his second book just a month ago on the 20th of March 2018 and he is already receiving great reviews. We have more reviews, features and interviews lined up for him over the coming months. The snapshot below is just the start of the efforts we are putting in to helping Chris make his second book and even bigger success than the first.

Jenny Jackson

Jenny’s book has been incredibly popular. Although only 9 reviews can be seen on Amazon so far we have another 20 in the queue from a plethora of excited book reviewers and bloggers. Jenny’s book has been one of the most popular novels we have ever promoted from an independent author.

Thanks, Charles looking forward to read

I would appreciate more information - particularly about cost and the process involved. I have taken marketing seriously and have hired a company to push my novel, 'Spiral' which is published on Kindle as an eBook and paperback. I have been told that copies have been sent to a large number of very interested readers - but, as yet, the only review I have are from friends and family! I suspect my marketing 'friend' is doing very little to push. SO, I'm slightly cynical!

Hi Leslie, Your book looks great :-) Congratulations on getting it published and I'm sorry to learn that you're disappointed with results of your current marketing campaign so far. Bear in mind that it will take time for people to read the book and post their reviews. We offer a completely transparant service, so clients always know exactly what we are doing to push their books for them. I will arrange for some details to be sent across to you about how we might be able to help. Good luck with 'Spiral'.

Charles, As a blogger and author, I know how important it is to get interviews and reviews for your book. That is why I pay it forward to 130+ authors every year, including authors from a variety of countries. So, when Publishing Push suggests an author/book, I'm happy to provide a Guest Author Interview or book review on my blog, www.CherylHolloway.net/blog. Keep sending them, Charles! Cheryl Holloway
