Quality and Size

The Woolly Tales are made to quality, printed on high quality silk coated card. There is a gloss lamination on the front and back cover. They are 148mm x 148mm – perfect for tiny hands! Each tale comprises of 20 pages in total (including the cover).

Knitting

Every Woolly character is born in knitting form. Even better, they are suitable for even the most novice of Woolly knitters. Even better still, they don’t take a lifetime to conjure up, and if one character is bigger than another, it doesn’t matter! You’re not knitting jumpers here!

About the creators

Andy is Surrey-based and takes on not only the role of joint-creator of the Woolly Tales, but works additionally as a multiple award-winning self-employed graphic designer, illustrator and creative director, specialising in branding, digital, illustration and print. Andy designs the characters, sets and books. He also uses his photography skills to take the photos for the stories.

‍

Nicola is a lawyer for a charity. She is responsible for all things knitting! Knitting the characters themselves and writing the knit patterns. She also makes the sets, props and creatures for the stories.

‍

All their charming stories are thoroughly checked and double-checked, tried and tested by their 1-year old son.
