With the money gone, friends disappear from their inner circle, and for the first time since they can remember they must fend for themselves. Evelyn is the eldest, she understands the urgency of the situation, and so takes a unilateral approach to solving their problems, her father’s solicitor. With rent covered for 2 months in what can only be described as a far cry from the luxury of their past lives, life meets new challenges, sparks new loves and provides the sisters with lessons along the way, from a world that never truly owed them anything.

About our Author

Katie Simpkins, 35, is a homeworker data entry clerk, who loves writing in her spare time. She lives in Burgess Hill, near Brighton and has dreamt of publishing her stories since she was a teenager at school. The Southern Belles is her first novel in the Brighton Belles series. She lives at home with her husband, Joe, and Cat Olivia.
