If you enjoyed The Gruffalo, then you'll love these laugh-out-loud rhyming tales of quick-thinking, lemonade-drinking Mike Bike, as he battles dastardly villains to defend Mike Bike Hall.
“One of the best children's books to be released in a long time. It is both engaging and funny, a must for all children.” – Pam
Excerpt
Long ago in England’s past,
A foul plague took its victims fast,
A boy lies dying at a lake,
And prays the God’s his soul to take.
Holding on to wooden toy,
A bear, and best friend of the boy,
The lad now waits to meet his death,
And all around him is bereft.
A power from the universe,
Now with this boy, it does converse,
“Oh boy of earth you’ll never die,
Our chosen one we can’t deny!”
“The wooden bear you hold so tight,
Will keep your wisdom burning bright!
We’ve given thought, and name we like,
You will be known as Sir Mike Bike!”
