From the Author
"I was raised and grew up in the United Methodist Church. While I do proudly embrace my background and personal history within the Church, I feel that ultimately what is important is not the denomination that you are a part of. What matters most is the relationship that you have with the Lord. Part and parcel to any relationship is the level of commitment that one makes to it. With any and all relationships, they are going to take time to grow.
Through the years, if I were to describe my relationship with the Lord using one word, it would be 'transformation'. Continuing to grow daily in my walk with the Lord, and as well continue to display the fruits of His Spirit daily, is for me what my life is all about.
Frankly for these times, my attitude and belief is that the world is looking to those who are Christians to see if in fact their talk does indeed match their walk. As is the case with each of us, I have experienced many twists and turns along the road of life. But each and every step along that road has led me to this point in life to humbly say that I am an author. But most of all to be able to say that I am a Christian author, to me is the most important thing of all.
To everything there is a time and season. Though I was unsure what was in store for me, I am blessed to say that by just being obedient and trusting in the Lord, I am now able to say, and most importantly show others, that God will qualify you and lead you to accomplish what his charge is for you by just being a willing servant. As this is a fact, what He has done through me, it was done so to give Him the glory."

For These Times
As these days blend together, one into the other, it would seem perhaps to the naked eye that all is the same.
And yet beneath the surface, lies an ever-growing cauldron of change.
Change that bespeaks an under-current of uncertainty that fore-shadows the unknown of tomorrow.
For seemly that which we consider the norm is on daily basis now the exception rather than the rule.
Up it seems is looked at as down;
Stop is now a signal for go;
Right is now decried as wrong and wrong proclaimed as right.
Surely for a time such as this, we find ourselves in search of answers to what would appear to be mounting questions as to what to do and where to turn as life challenges increase exponentially.
And yet as a majority wrestles with the spectre of an unknown tomorrow, those who are by definition “peculiar” remain firmly rooted not in a maybe, but in an absolute in knowing not in part but knowing in full as to who holds tomorrow in the palm of his hand.
For as Christians we are called to stand as the exception rather than the rule as to the prevailing mind-set of concern. For even in the midst of a changing time, when all around us would seem to be in a state of flux, still we remain grounded in that “Blessed Assurance.”
Knowing that we know that we know that “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
As those who have been called and by definition are “peculiar” may we continue to be steadfast in our faith, resolute in our stand and unmovable in our belief in God’s promise to those whom he loves.
